Stephanie Brittnacher has been working as a freelance illustrator in Chemnitz since 2013. Her repertoire includes editorial and children's book illustrations, visuals for campaigns and graphic recording. Her clients include the city of Chemnitz, children's book publishers such as Tyrolia as well as cultural and political institutions and non-profit organisations. As an artistic designer, she supports her clients in visually reinforcing messages or adding an extra layer to stories.

Stephanie Brittnacher's work includes the ‘Chemnitz Wimmelbuch’, the design for the Chemnitz City Library's cargo bike, the visual design of the Chemnitz cultural strategy and several children's books together with Frauke Angel. She was nominated for the German Comic Book Award of the Berthold Leibinger Stiftung in 2023 for the book ‘Haus aus Stein’ (House of Stone) together with Frauke Angel.
