In 2024, the city of Chemnitz has launched three more participation programs for the 2025 European Capital of Culture year. Money will be made available for the implementation of projects in specific locations.
The good news for you: One of the three program lines - "Places of New Beginnings" - also concerns our Stadtwirtschaft area.
Applications could be submitted in summer 2024. It has now been decided which projects will be awarded funding and thus receive financial support for implementation.

We are excited...
A total of seven projects were proposed by the city administration and city council for implementation in the Stadtwirtschaft.
The funding budget for these seven projects is around 35,000 euros.
Ready for take-off...
The funded projects include the opening of the new FabLab premises by Stadtfabrikanten Chemnitz e.V., the one-day KulturGutOst festival with bands from the Czech Republic and Saxony and a dance workshop with final performances on the open-air grounds of the Stadtwirtschaft.
