KulturWerk Schneeberg

A multifunctional space for hands-on activities and experimentation housed in a Baroque setting

The MakerHub run by the nonprofit “KulturWerk Schneeberg e. V.” and its project partners offers space for both traditional crafts and modern technologies such as 3D printing and virtual reality.

The maker hub will serve as a catalyst for innovation and social integration, a venue for exhibitions of student work from the Faculty of Applied Arts, and a bridge to the regional creative scene. The facility offers opportunities for networking among local K-12 schools, the local business community, and the broader urban community—all in the heart of the city, housed in a Baroque building, and in the immediate vicinity of the future World Heritage visitor center.
