Stadtwirtschaft offers spaces ranging from 15 to 180 square meters for projects in the fields of art and (socio)culture, social services, the creative industries, and manufacturing.

Renovation work on Building A was completed in the fall of 2024, and the building was handed over for use in May 2025. In addition to the event hall (for temporary use) and the dining area, Building A features, among other things, large rooms that can be used as club rooms or offices for collaborative work, as well as studio spaces and workshops.

Building B was handed over to the city in the spring of 2026 and has been in use ever since. While the ground floor (courtyard level) primarily houses workshop spaces in addition to the city workshop and the showroom (for temporary use), the spaces on the upper floor can be used as studios or offices.

Building D—the former office and administrative building of the Stadtwirtschaft—is characterized by a more compartmentalized spatial layout. Through the KRACH program, Building D pioneered the repurposing of the Stadtwirtschaft. A low-impact renovation was carried out here in 2019–2020.

Outbuildings E and K are used as workshop and storage space. They are currently fully leased.

The Stadtwirtschaft fosters a vibrant community of key players from different walks of life and professional fields. Usage fees are tailored to the different characteristics of the key players (public-interest-oriented vs. commercially oriented), their stages of development (pre-startup and startup phases / established institutions), and the type of use of the space.
