NETZ-Werk Neukirchen

The NETZ-Werk Neukirchen/Erzgebirge is located in Neukirchen. Since 2018, an event kitchen has been under construction here on the site of a former car dealership that had fallen into disuse; it was completed right on schedule as a maker hub to coincide with the start of Chemnitz’s designation as the 2025 Capital of Culture. Events celebrating the cuisines of the region and Europe are held here regularly.

Both businesses and individuals can rent the facilities and event kitchens for gatherings and events. This is made possible, in part, by the new organization “Netzwerk-Helden,” which supports the local community, plans projects and gatherings, and fosters a sense of community.
