"Hang zur Kultur" Neighborhood Festival

The "Hang zur Kultur" neighborhood festival will once again transform the public spaces of Sonnenberg into a vibrant cultural hub in 2026: During “Hang zur Kultur,” numerous venues will open their doors and invite visitors from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.—and beyond—to explore, participate, and linger.

This year, the focus is increasingly on the southern part of Sonnenberg and the independent cultural scene. The festivities kick off at 1:45 p.m. with a parade under the motto “More flowers instead of concrete,” organized by the Paper Lantern Collective. Starting at Lessingplatz, the colorful demonstration will wind its way through the neighborhood and end at the Stadtwirtschaft. The closing rally will take place there around 2:30 p.m., which will also serve as a transition into the on-site festivities—including, among other things, the one-year anniversary of the ZEUX initiative.

Starting at 2:30 p.m.: Marina Klavina - opening reception for the exhibition "Shaping Our Home IV"

Starting at 3:00 p.m.: FAUCH SCHOKI — workshop on making chocolate and designing packaging

Starting at 3:00 p.m.: tour of the Stadtwirtschaft

Starting at 4:00 p.m.: One Year of Zeux - materials lottery

Starting at 4:00 p.m.: Tour of the Stadtwirtschaft

Starting at 4:30 p.m.: One Year of Zeux - Music

In addition, the open spaces provided by the Stadtwirtschaft can be used

Admission is free, but some activities require a fee to cover expenses.
