Energy is essential to us. Heat, transportation, smartphones—we can't do without them. Today we know that the use of fossil fuels has long-term effects on our climate. So how can we use them wisely and sustainably?

The Wissensfabrik’s City4Future project brings together the topics of energy, climate change, and sustainability, introducing students in grades 7–10 to the world of energy through a hands-on approach. City4Future can be integrated into the curriculum for natural sciences and social studies and consists of 5 modules (approximately 20 to 30 lessons). The advanced training takes place as a blended learning event, consisting of a virtual kickoff and introductory session followed by an on-site workshop phase.
