Integrative Workshop

The Chemnitzer Kunstfabrik combines artistic work with inclusive interaction. In its workshops and projects, children, teenagers, and adults—with and without disabilities—work together on creative projects in an accessible environment.

A special focus is placed on "Impromptu Art," also known as Art Brut or Outsider Art. In addition, the Chemnitzer Kunstfabrik develops creative programs for blind and visually impaired children and adolescents, as well as for people with physical and intellectual disabilities.

Artistically talented young people and volunteers have the opportunity to contribute to the collaborative efforts and, in the process, learn about various social work and academic fields. When needed, new, inclusive formats and projects are developed—for example, sound projects with blind and visually impaired young people in collaboration with the Sächsische Mozartgesellschaft e.V.
