GIFT

GIFT is a new heavy act from Chemnitz. The band blends doom, crust, synth, noise, and industrial intensity into a sound that is deep, raw, and physical: pounding drums, deep guitars, fuzz, distortion, and a voice that cuts through rather than embellishes.

GIFT’s sound emerges from the tension between analog power and digital distortion. Vintage sound meets broken effects chains, tonal depth meets noise, and Wall of Sound meets punk attitude. The music is brutal, driving, and direct. It forges its own path between doom, crust, industrial, synth, and trash.

Chemnitz is more than just a place of origin. The city is embedded in the sound: gray concrete, abandoned buildings, factory halls, the car industry, empty spaces, the rhythm of machinery, and the feeling of struggling against inner and outer heaviness. GIFT sounds like engines, rust, pressure, and the psyche in resistance: loud, left-winged, uncomfortable, and deliberately unpolished.

The band is currently writing its first songs and recording demos. The result isn't a defined genre, but rather a fusion of metal, punk, digital distortion, and industrial influences.
