Makerhubs in the Chemnitz cultural region
As part of the preparations for the European Capital of Culture Chemnitz 2025, other places have been created alongside the Stadtwirtschaft in Chemnitz and the cultural region where people can learn from each other and create something new together. In Chemnitz itself, the Garage Campus intervention area on Zwickauer Straße is one of them.
The maker hubs in the cultural region have also created places where designers, craftspeople, entrepreneurs, the next generation of skilled workers and makers from all over the world can come together. Visitors and creative tourists can experience regional culture and traditions at workshops.
