On Saturday, May 9, 2026, the city of Chemnitz will celebrate Urban Development Day and Europe Day. Stadtwirtschaft, a national urban development project and part of the intervention area for Chemnitz 2025, European Capital of Culture, will be there—a great opportunity to get to know the area and its key players.

- FAUCH SCHOKI: Small chocolate tasting and sales booth
- Zeux: Open material storage to explore and marvel at
- CLARO!: Fun, hands-on activities from the STEM world
- Marina Klavina: Open studio for discussions on art, the EU, and Chemnitz
- Marina Klavina: "Shaping Our Home" exhibition
- Braubox: Open nano-brewery and small beer tasting
